Electron Education values the privacy and dignity of students while also celebrating their learning experiences. This Media Consent Policy explains how photographs, videos, and other media may be captured and used.
1. What This Policy Covers This policy applies to: Photographs Video recordings Audio recordings Student work or project displays Collected during Electron Education programs, events, classes, or activities.
2. Purpose of Media Collection Media may be collected for the following purposes:
Educational documentation Program records and internal review Marketing and promotional materials
Website and social media content
Printed materials (e.g. flyers, brochures)
3. Consent
3.1. Media consent is requested separately during the booking or enrolment process.
3.2. Consent is optional and is not required for a student to participate in any Electron Education program.
3.3. If consent is not granted, reasonable steps will be taken to ensure the student is not identifiable in published media.
4. Withdrawal of Consent
4.1. Consent may be withdrawn at any time by contacting Electron Education in writing.
4.2. Withdrawal of consent will apply to future use of media. Media already published may not be able to be removed from all platforms, but no new use will occur.

How Media Is Used Where consent is provided, media may be used: On Electron Education’s website On social media platforms In digital or printed promotional materials In reports or presentations showcasing programs Students will not be identified by full name unless explicit additional consent is provided.
6. Storage and Security Media files are stored securely and accessed only by authorised personnel. Reasonable steps are taken to prevent unauthorised access or misuse.
7. Third-Party Platforms Media may be published on third-party platforms (such as social media). These platforms have their own privacy policies, and Electron Education is not responsible for their data handling practices.
